Mexico City on a Plate – Discovering the City One Taco at a Time

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026! To exploring new places, enjoying new foods and savoring old favorites!

I recently went to Mexico City twice in one month for two weddings and somehow that still didn’t feel like enough time! This was my first experience of Mexico City and I loved it. The food was incredible! We tried food from small vendors to nice restaurants. Beyond the incredible food, we also had the chance to be there during Día de los Muertos. The city was vibrant and alive with color, music, and celebration everywhere you looked.

Some of the restaurants we ate at were: Azul, Maizajo, Trinidad Ritual De Sabores, El Tizoncito, La Patagonia, Oja de Agua. I also went to a Churro and Chocolate Making Workshop.

Here is a collage of my food adventures in CDMX
