    You can also just reduce Balsamic Vinegar on its own and it still will thicken and become syrupy.

    1. You are right! I usually just do that as it also intensifies the flavour especially if the balsamic is not of great quality. Adding sugar just gives it a different dimension. Thanks for commenting.
